WELCOME TO MY SITE AND HAVE A GOOD DAY

If this is your first time in this site, welcome. It has been my dream that my province, Marinduque, Philippines becomes a world tourist destination not only during Easter Week but also whole year round. You can help me achieve my dream by telling your friends about this site. The photo above is your own private beach at The Chateau Du Mer Beach Resort. The sand is not as white as Boracay, but it is only a few steps from your front yard and away from the mayhem and crowds of Boracay. I have posted some of my favorite Filipino and American dishes and recipes on this site also. Some of the photos and videos on this site, I do not own. However, I have no intention on infringement of your copyrights. Cheers!

Bellarocca Resort Visit-12/28/10

After one year of wishing that I could personally visit this resort right in my backyard, the day came last December 28, 2010. Anne Miles Jalac, President of MI, Inc has arranged with Shiela Evano for this tour in connection with our post mission plan for rest and recreation to this 5-tar resort. ( Dinner Dance and Valentine Party). So with Macrine, Mrs Rivas ( owner of East Point Hotel) and Myself and Annie, we drove to Lipata and arrived at 7:50AM. Our appointment was at 8:00AM. Exactly at the appointed time a rubber speed boat gave us a two minute wild and bouncing ride to the island. We were welcome with paper cuttings showers and then driven to the main building via an electric golf cart. We were welcome by the manager of the Resort and given a refreshing pineapple drink and a short orientation regarding our day tour. We toured all the rooms from the cheapest to the most expensive, all the buildings, the helicopter pad and other public areas. We took pictures and after the tour we had a buffet lunch. The lunch cost 750 pesos per person, but with our senior discount, it amounted to only 550 pesos. The buffet lunch consisted of 7 kinds of salads, main dishes, desserts and soup. The salad and dessert were delicious, but the main dishes tasted very ordinary. We hope, the resort can give MI, Inc a reasonable discount for our coming February 13 event. Below are some of the photos during our historic visit.
